IFAT 2016 - Positive results for FLEXIM

On Friday, 3 June, after the IFAT 2016 closed its doors, FLEXIM were certain about one thing: The five days spent at the trade fair in Munich were well worth it. About half of the 138,000 visitors at the fair travelled from abroad – a lot of international interest was shown at FLEXIM’s booth.

"As the world’s leading fair for the water, sewage, waste and raw materials industries, IFAT offered us the ideal platform for the international launch of our FLUXUS WD device series which we developed specifically for the requirements of the water industry", stresses Michael Sarvan, FLEXIM’s Marketing Manager who is responsible for the water/wastewater sector. He is delighted that the very reasonable cost-benefit ratio seen during production could also be seen at FLEXIM’s own stand: "The advantages of our measurement method are proven to the user in terms of costs for civil engineering and for ourselves just for the stand construction. Our booth was no bigger than the pipes on which we measure ". In fact, FLEXIM’s FLUXUS clamp-on ultrasonic systems, among others, are used  for non-invasive flow measurement on the huge drive lines of hydropower plants that measure 6.5 m. "There is no need to open any pipes in order to install our flowmeters which means there is no interruption to supply", emphasises FLEXIM’s water expert: "In addition to that, the compact measuring systems don’t even need an underground shaft structure." Michael Sarvan sums up: "We have certainly communicated these competitive advantages successfully in the past five days."
