FLEXIM at the 9th Berlin TEAM relay

Same procedure as every year: runners met in 2008 again in Berlin's city park Tiergarten for the annual corporate race. And just as every year, there were more participants than ever before. FLEXIM was part of this trend and sent 3 relay teams into the race, one more than in 2007. 18,875 runners in 3775 relay teams had registrated for the challenging 5 x 5 km competition taking place on 3 consecutive days. The FLEXIM teams thus proudly totaled a whopping 0.8% of the participants.

This years motto was 'Fit for Flow', and the competing flow experts from team FLEXIM proved their ability to reproduce measurement results. Relay team "Schleichmenge" (leak flow) finished in 2 hours, 13 minutes and 21 seconds. A comparison with the 2007 results, as team "FLEXIM runners" reached the finish line in 2:24:59 seconds, shows a deviation of 0.66%. Relay team "Transit Time" completed the 25 km in 2:16:21, and the "The Cold Starters" women team finished with a time of 2:24:59. The sky was a beautiful blue as the FLEXIM athletes, all in yellow jerseys, completed a total of 75 km. As expected, everybody agreed:
