Two transducers types providing a uniquely wide application range

In order to cover the wide range of gas applications, FLEXIM offers two different transducer types, each having its specific advantages:

The shear-wave transducers (GS type) can be used in a broad range of pipe sizes and wall thicknesses. They are the right choice for measurements at different measuring points on pipes of different materials, and for pipes with very thick walls, for example in high pressure applications.

The lamb-wave transducers (GL type) are ideal for applications where high flow velocities (natural gas pipelines) and attenuative media are encountered. Their highly efficient energy transmission enables clamp-on flow measurement even at low pressure, in compressed air applications for exampe.
