Clamp-on transducers

Clamp-on transducers are mounted onto the pipe instead of inserted into it. They are not in direct contact with the medium, are thus not submitted to wear and tear and therefore ideal for the measurement of chemically aggressive, corrosive or ultra pure media. With the clamp-on technology, the retrofitting on existing installations is very easy and can be made without interruption of the process.

The standard transducers have IP65 degree of protection. Various explosion-protected transducers are available.

All FLEXIM clamp-on transducers are watertight and suitable for use in harsh industrial environment. The housing of the transducers as well as the conduits of the transducer cables are made of stainless steel. The cables of the explosion-proof transducers are sheathed with a special plastic material. The robust construction and the integrated transducer cables make it possible to obtain good measurement results over a long period of extensive usage.
