ACHEMA 2012 with FLEXIM

15.05.2012

Every three years the ACHEMA, as the leading international exhibition for the chemical and process industries, gathers the global's ’Who-is-Who’ in Frankfurt, Germany.

From June 18th until the 22th, the 30th ACHEMA will, once again, with nearly 4000 exhibitiors and over 900 presentations in the adjacent confernences, set a distinctive mark for the whole industry.

Of course, FLEXIM will join the ACHEMA and we thus would like to invite you to visit us at our Booth A16 in Hall 11.1.

Please contact us directly for a reservation of your free entry ticket or to arrange a consulting or demonstration visit of our sales team directly at your site or also for a visit at our booth at an individual time.

Measuring from the outside what's flowing inside

Advanced process measurement technology offers answers to the pressing questions of our times - so are the determining questions of the ACHEMA 2012: Energy and Raw Materials usage.

An improvement in efficiency often means the avoidance of waste. Process optimisation starts with the measurement of the flowing material and energy streams.
As for all parts of industrial plants, also for the implemented measurement technology, the total lifecycle costs have to be considered:
How much energy is consumed by the measurement, which expenses have to be expected for its maintenance?

Liquid and Gas flows are best measued from the pipe wall outside, which means:

  • No process interruption for installation
  • No pressure losses
  • No wear and tear through the medium itself
  • No risk of leaks and most of all
  • Unrestricted plant availability

Since more than two decades, non-intrusive ultrasonic flow measurement has its name: FLUXUS

Liquids, Gases, Thermal Energy Flows

It is not least creditable to FLEXIM, that the non-intrusive measurement technology could prove itself as a standard flow metering technology in many industries.

Our Ultrasonic flow meters, FLUXUS, are continously setting new measures. Unrivalled in accuracy and reliability, FLUXUS stands the test in numerous applications worldwide. Not only within the chemical industry, with its often aggressive and toxic media, the non-intrusive method is the measurement  technology of choice.

The FLUXUS flow meters measure practically everything thats flowing - liquids as well as gases. At the ACHEMA you can talk a look at the performance of our  FLUXUS G601 CA Energy: The portable allrounder offers the non-intrusive measurement of thermal energy flows as well as the clamp-on measurement of compressed air and many industrial gases.

As an exclusive provider, FLEXIM realises the clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement also at extreme temperatures - from -170° up to 450°C and beyond.

Exclusive is also the latest innovation from FLEXIM - the portable ATEX certified and FM approved FLUXUS F/G608 flow meter for the mobile flow measurement of liquids and gases in hazardous areas.

Progressive Process Analytical Technology

By non-intrusively measuring the sonic velocity within a medium, the clamp-on ultrasonic technology can also be used for sophisticated Process Analytics. Our Ultrasonic process analytical measurement system, PIOX S, proves itself in applications where wetted measurement devices are prone to significant erosion - e.g. during the concentration and mass flow measurement of acids and caustics.

In the scope of the ACHEMA congress programm, our process analytical expert, Dr. Jörg Wylamrzy, will hold a lecture about the advantages of non-intrusive process analytical and flow measurement technology by ultrasound.
We cordialy invite you to his presentation «Ultrasonic Clamp-on Measurement – an Alternative to Coriolis ?», which will be held at the 18th of June 2012 at 16:00 hrs. at the "Spektrum" hall of the CMF.

The measurement of the Refractive Index is a well-tried method for the concentration determination. With our patented Transmitted Light Process Refractometer PIOX R, laboratory accuracy is directly transferred into the process.

We are looking forward to an interesting exhibtion together with you!
