FLUXUS® G – Non-Intrusive Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meter Series
Raising the bar
The FLUXUS gas flow meters are available as portable as well as permanent meters and are finding a broad application range within gasexploration, -transportation, -storage as well as within industrial processing.
Precise, bi-directional, reliable
Moreover, FLEXIM's transducers feature an integrated temperature compensation (compliant to ANSI/ASME (MFC-5M-1985(R2011)), which eliminates influences of ambient temperature changes that could affect the accuracy of the measurement.
The ultrasonic transducers are simply clamped on to the outside of the pipe and never get in direct contact with the liquid flowing inside the pipe. For installation, no cutting or welding on the pipe is necessary - process interruption or even process stops are a thing of the past. The bi-directional flow measurement system is immune against any kind of chemical attack by the gas flowing inside the pipe, as well as independent toward pressure peaks, vortexes, lateral or pulsating gas flows and does not cause any pressure drops - further reducing its operational costs.
Safe, efficient, intuitive
With the help of special coupling pads, the transducers themselves never loose contact to the pipe wall and thus do not need any type of regreasing. Both transmitters and transducers are available in various explosion hazardous area approved versions (such as ATEX, IECEx, FM and GOST).
In regard to the pressure ratio inside the pipe, FLUXUS doesn't know any limitation. Even the flow measurement of wet gas , as often seen during gasexploration and -storage, is not a hurdle for the FLUXUS gas flow meter.
By integrating additional process parameters such as pressure and temperature as well as the individual gas coefficients, the FLUXUS gas flow meters are also capable to measure the mass flow rate as well as operational and standard volume flows with highest precision.
At the same time all FLUXUS flow meters share a high degree of commonality as they are based on the same technological platform, offering the user the same intuitive user interface, an automatic and fast transducer recognition and thus ensure a fast and easy set-up.
